PayDay 2 is a cooperative FPS game that is a continuation of successful 2011 production. The title, like the previous part, was developed by the Stockholm studio Overkill Software.

Players takes on the role of an organized gang of criminals. The action is set in the city of Washington, and the story focuses on a series of dangerous orders received through the CRIMENET system. Up to four players can join missions. The game offers a wide variety of different types of tasks, among which, in addition to typical attacks, we also find: kidnapping, transport of drugs. The characters are divided into four specializations (Mastermind, Enforcer, Ghost and Technician). Each of them has his own skills tree and uses his own equipment.

PayDay 2 is focused on co-operation - close partnership with your gang is essential for success.  Police officers, FBI agents, SWAT troops and other criminals can often affect your mission. Compared to the prototype, artificial intelligence was significantly improved. Enemies are now more demanding and can use many ingenious strategies. For successful completion of the orders we receive additional equipment. The game is enriched with the weapon modification system and character dressing system.
